Welcome to the chaotic, caffeine-fuelled world of Emma Baird’s books — where romance rarely goes to plan, sarcasm is practically a love language and there’s usually a cat, a crisis, or a handsome stranger lurking nearby. I write funny, heartfelt fiction full of emotional tangles, big feelings and even bigger plot twists.
I write fiction that’s funny, heartfelt, and (mostly) set in Scotland — from romantic comedies with runaway proposals and chaotic village weddings, to emotionally honest love stories, to fantasy adventures featuring vampires, faeries, and the occasional sarcastic goblin.
